By AFSCME Staff

There have never been more ways to pursue higher education than through AFSCME’s Free College Benefit.

Whether your focus is criminal justice, business, health care management or something else, let AFSCME make your higher education dreams come true. AFSCME has been a leader among unions in providing free college benefits to its members, and that effort continues to grow.

Advance your career with higher education

Now, there are more ways that AFSCME members and their families can complete their degree or certificate online for free.

Central State University continues to support AFSCME members and their family members with programs in criminal justice, business, teacher education and more – and we’ve added more options with additional schools to help students meet their education goals.

Regardless of which program meets your needs, you won’t have to pay out of pocket for tuition, fees or for e-books (after any federal or employer grants are used).

For registered nurses who want to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing, Franklin University offers low-cost RN-to-Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

Many nurses are looking to complete their bachelor’s degrees to increase their rate of pay. We now offer a program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing and Education, the accrediting agency for nursing educational programs in the United States, for just $200 per credit hour. Depending on where you are in your career, you may be able to complete the degree in fewer than 18 months.

There’s no time like the present to beef up your skills and take your career to the next level. Find out more here.

More information will be available at the Free College booth at AFSCME’s 45th International Convention. Check it out!
