Helping our union elect pro-worker politicians is as easy as playing Plinko.
Here’s how: At the Los Angeles convention, head to the PEOPLE booth in the Exhibit Hall and buy tickets to play Plinko. The money you spend for a chance to play will go to the PEOPLE political action committee.
In Plinko, contestants slide circular chips down a board studded with rows of pegs. When the chip ends up in a slot at the bottom of the board, you will win a button or a pin that you can trade at the ever-popular pin-trading station in the exhibit space. You’ve probably seen it on “The Price is Right!”
It’s a fun and easy way to support PEOPLE, which helps our union elect worker-friendly politicians to federal, state and local offices. PEOPLE is financed entirely by voluntary contributions from AFSCME members, staff and their family members.
