AFSCME is 100% committed to doing all we can to make sure Kamala Harris is our next president. Delegates to the 46th AFSCME International Convention can do their part to make this happen at the AFSCME for Harris Action Center, in the Exhibit Hall.
Here, you can create handwritten postcards to send to family members, friends and fellow union members. Explain why this election is important and urge them to vote for Harris.
You can also fill out a card explaining why you’re committed to voting for Harris for president and let us know when and how you plan to vote — by mail, early in-person, or on Election Day. We will mail you that card to remind you when it’s time to vote.
Delegates can also use Learning Management System software to sign up for workshops, including several sessions on politics, organizing and activism.
Using iPads, you can verify your voter registration. If you aren’t signed up to vote, you can register on-site.
You can also access a special website to email your U.S. senators and representatives, asking them to co-sponsor and support the Public Service Freedom to Negotiate Act. This important bill would give public service workers nationwide collective bargaining rights.
Plus, it’s always PEOPLE day at the Action Center. Every member and retiree will be encouraged to sign up to become a PEOPLE member so you can help elect pro-worker candidates at all levels of government.
So, show up to the AFSCME for Harris Action Center and do your part to defend our democracy and advance workers’ rights!
