Scooters will be available for members and guests of the AFSCME 46th International Convention to use on site at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC). Members are strongly encouraged to reserve scooters prior to the Convention to ensure availability. Members and guests who have pre-registered for scooters prior to the start of the Convention will have a reserved scooter available upon arrival. The scooter will be available beginning, Saturday, August 10 through Friday, August 16, 2024 in the south lobby of the Los Angeles Convention Center only. Scooters can be checked out in exchange for a valid ID; the ID will be returned when the scooter is returned. Non-reserved scooters are limited and based on availability.
Members and guests in need of a scooter outside of the Convention Center may contact Scootaround Scooter on their website or call 888-447-7575.
Special requests (e.g., Braille, child care, refrigerators, scooters, Spanish interpretation) can also be made when you pre-register for the convention. You will receive a follow up communication once you have made the request.
