The first-ever PEOPLE Cornhole Tournament starts Sunday, August 11. The first round of this fundraiser runs from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall, located in Hall G of the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC). The Tournament Finale will take place on Monday, August 12, at 8:30 a.m. in Hall G.
Aw, SHUCKS! This year’s PEOPLE fundraiser is gonna be POPPIN’! It’s the AFSCME PEOPLE Cornhole Tournament!
Teams of two will compete in a thrilling bag tossing, hole punching, high stakes tournament at this year’s AFSCME 46th International Convention in Los Angeles. So, get your EARS in gear and find a partner to CREAM the opposition!
Some a-MAIZE-ing prizes await the winners of the tournament and those who have the highest number of pledges. You can even bag a prize for COB-bling together the most creative team name.

*Legal Requirement to Donate: Contributions or gifts to AFSCME PEOPLE are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. All contributions to AFSCME PEOPLE are voluntary and will be used to support pro-worker candidates in federal, state and local elections. Contributions are not a condition of membership or employment and refusal to contribute is free of reprisal. Although entry in AFSCME’s Cornhole Tournament requires a $200 contribution per team, any contribution guideline is only a suggestion, and you may contribute more or less than that amount or nothing at all, and you will not be favored or disadvantaged because of your contribution amount or decision not to contribute. In accordance with federal law, AFSCME PEOPLE accepts contributions only from AFSCME members, executive and administrative personnel, and their families. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.
