Puerto Rico member Sonia Delgado works in the Nutritional Assistance Program within the Department of Families of Puerto Rico. She describes the services she provides her community and how important those services have been in the last few years, with the natural disasters the island has faced as well as the coronavirus pandemic. She also talks about the fiscal challenges the government faced, and how important it was to be part of a strong union that was in the end able to negotiate some important benefits on behalf of workers.
