AFSCME delegates passed the following 18 resolutions on Wednesday, Aug. 19, the third day of the 47th International Convention in Chicago:
- Resolution No. 14 – 911 Telecommunicators and Dispatchers are First Responders
- Resolution No. 72 – 25th Anniversary of the September 11 Attacks
- Resolution No. 30 – Prevent the Deprofessionalization of Professional Certificates
- Resolution No. 79 – Invest in our Communities, Not Wars of Choice
- Resolution No. 20 – Solidarity with AFGE and Social Security Administration Workers
- Resolution No. 8 – Push Back on Cuts to Climate Change
- Resolution No. 64 – Make Affordability a Reality Through Progressive Policies
- Resolution No. 70 – Make Billionaires and Corporations Pay Their Fair Share
- Resolution No. 67 – Solidarity with Farmworkers and Support for Survivors of Sexual Abuse
- Resolution No. 78 – For Peace and Justice in Palestine and Israel
- Resolution No. 73 – Justice for Virginia’s Public Service Workers
- Resolution No. 2 – Stop the New Anti-Union Attacks in the States
- Resolution No. 68 – Protect Federal Employee Collective Bargaining and Jobs
- Resolution No. 27 – Preserving our Democracy and our Democratic Institutions
- Resolution No. 12 – Make Health Care Coverage Affordable
- Resolution No. 15 – Pass the Protecting America’s Workers Act
- Resolution No. 16 – No AI in Medicare
- Resolution No. 86 – Strengthening AFSCME Through Organizing Health Care Workers and Licensed Health Care Professionals
